can you post a link to it?

CKMUM · 01/05/2006 14:39

cant do links. It was basically to say that i tried once again to go but after DD1 having chicken pox when i was going to go before, DD2 now has it. I decided to give up on idea and spoke to doemstic violence unit at police station instead. I have often tried getting help with a mocve from health visitor and social services but got nowhere.

Now i have changed locks and feel safer and also got a friend supporting me the police have spoken to health visitor and now i don't want her involved she is pestering all the time, and social services are ehavily involved.

I suppose is hould be glad they are taking things seriously now but I'm seriosly p***d off that when i ask for help they do nothing but when other professionals speak to them they listen

Oooh, I see what you mean about posting on that thread!

I just tried to put a link to this thread in for you, to update the original. Previewed ok but nothing happened when I posted it. Very strange.

HappyMumof2 · 01/05/2006 14:46

has he gone then?

how are social services involved? Did the hv contact them?

At least things are happening for you, although it must be hard that they didn't listen to you in the first place

CKMUM · 01/05/2006 14:47

police contacted social services and now i ma scared i wont get rid of them they are interfering too much

In what way are they interfearing? Have they paid you a visit?

HappyMumof2 · 01/05/2006 14:51

Try not to think of them as being against you. They may be able to help you out of this.
I know it's hard to think of them like that, but honestly, their purpose is to support families going through tough times, which you are.
