just wondering - having read the sunday papers for yet another week and been bombarded by images of gorgeous bags - the cheapest at around 500 pounds. Is this for real? are they women who really spend this much on bags? I crave a gorgeous bag now but my husband thinks I am nuts and the money isn't there anyhow. How did this happen - five years ago pre kids I had money and an expensive bag wasn't the badge of honour it is now. Then I had kids, had a style sleep for a few years, woke up and suddenly the bag thing is so huge. So emperors new clothes or something to be aspired to?
and also - where can I get a great cheap bag....

Some of the bags are just sooo awful imho - lots of bling & logos. I love Longchamp bags & have the rucksack style in leather & also in fabric - lovely & not loud :)

I love bags and at Christmas I treated myself to an expensive (for me - £60 in a sale - far far more than I've ever spent on a bag in my entire life) bag.

But hardly ever take it with me as I've now got into the habit of sticking my phone and purse into the nappy bag. :(

I love Coach bags, definitely not cheap though.
