it has mud on the legs and floor sliding stains all over it! ive boil washed it, sprayed stain remover on it, rubbed washing powder into it etc etc.

used to have similar bother but soaking it with washing liquid seemed to do. avoid bleach solution, it turns them a creamy colour - takes white dye out.

Don't let anyone wear it....works a treat Grin

Was that helpful? Sorry.... they are a pain and I have the same problem with the bottoms of the legs getting dirty - mine walk to karate across the park and in the winter I wish the suits were a nice dark brown. I haven't managed to get the very worst stains out TBH so we keep a 'best' suit for gradings and displays, and an everyday one. But scrubbing the worst bits with some detergent and then a good hot wash seems to help. Now ironing the damn things is quite another story .. Angry

We have black suits - much easier to keep looking nice...as long as you don't wash them too often Grin

its a nightmare really, but im not buying a seperate one for gradings... like he ever goes to one?!!!!! lol. we have to walk across a field too.

Are the children allowed to wear black trousers for training? I make mine wear the black ones for training and keep the white trousers for gradings. Black trousers cost £10, which I think is pretty good if you consider how much it must cost to try to keep the white trousers clean.

With great difficulty! I have the same problem.

Like the idea of wearing black trousers for training - good practical solution. Might have to suggest that.

I have the same problem with dp's chef whites as with ds2's karate gi and wash both at 60 deg with ds3's nappies! Soaking with napisan (which has mild bleach in it works wonders - the cotton is thick enough to take it). Get them out on the line to dry too - the sun is a natural bleaching agent and works brilliantly on white cotton and can really fade grass/mud stains (my ds is always messing around outside with it on after class). Would it be too ridiculous to turn the trousers inside out for classes? I'm sure no-one would notice once the jacket is on top. Ours can wear t-shirts if it's hot.

they have to wear the full suit unfortunatly and i cant turn them inside out as ive turned them up so it would look a bit odd. if i soaked it in miltons or something similiar would it turn a strange colour do you think? (how sad am i!)
