WHITE DOG PUPPET IN BLUEWATER

I felt so sad today for the little boy who owns this puppet, it thought i'd post this thread in case his mum is a mumsnetter. You never know do you!

DD was playing down in the All Stars activity bit in bluewater. Two little boys leaned over the balcony and asked us if we could see this dog - they were desperate as the eldest one told us his little brother couldn't get to sleep without it.
We had a good look around but couldn't find it. So the boys left.

As we were leaving i found it right by the entrance to All stars. Dashed round the food court to find the boys but no sign of them, so i handed it in at the All stars counter, but the girl wasn't particularly interested - nothing she could do i s'pose.

If the parent of this little boy is reading this, go back to bluewater cos the dogs waiting there!!

I know how sad this is as dd has a favourite bunny and would be devestated to lose it. Sad.

Could you not ask Bluewater management to put an ad in the centre? You could also place on in the local rag.

Hoping it gets claimed!!!!

Hattie05 · 29/04/2006 20:06

I don't think Bluewater care tbh!

Is it a bit extreme for ad in local rag? I just thought i'd give it a go on mumsnet as i remember a success story some time ago.

I though if i bump this for a few days then i'll feel like i've done my bit Smile

Dunno, I'd look out in the paper if I lost something like this.
Does Bluewater not have a noticeboard for announcements? The staff could pop a notice on there.

hattie... i can't remember the name of the site, but there is a website where you can list details of toys you have found!
people can also place "lost" ads for lost toys...

might be worth googling

DS lost his precious blue teddy once - on a residential street. We went back 5 mins later

It had gone. :(
I put up wanted - reward posters in local doctors, shop, school, post office

Never saw blue teddy again :(

I hope dog returns to his rightful owner soon!

Hattie05 · 29/04/2006 20:22

Thanks starlover i'll have a look for that later.

Rhubarb - i don't know but Bluewater is so massive not sure if anyone would look for it. Perhaps i will ring the local paper and see if they can put a note in.

busybee Sad about your blue teddy, so now i don't feel silly for feeling so sorry for this poor little boy!
