has anyone bought a pushchair from abroad??

just found the pliko i want on ebay!its from italy and is pink (havent seen any shops here with the pink one!)
just wondering if anyone else has bought a pushchair from abroad?bit worried about it getting damaged on the way here.and what if it does arrive damaged how would you stand on returns?

I bought a Quinny Buzz from Holland because I wanted it in pale blue and couldn't get it here (I also used ebay)

It came very quickly and it was fine. The only thing is, the european model is slightly different from the UK one in terms of safety or something. It's absolutely safe, it's just that if anything goes wrong with it, I'm not sure where I stand and I obviously can't return it to a shop.

If I'd bought it here, I'd have returned it for two faults by now.

what kind of pink?

i have seen a m&p buggy in a kind of pink tweed round here... not sure if it's the one you mean though, or even if it was a pliko!

its the second one lizs.the pliko p3 classico or something!found a shop on ebay in germany that have them for £119 and £15 delivery.the one in italy is £149.73 and 50 euros delivery.so think am going to get the one from germany.showed dh it this morning and he likes it but also said 'what if something goes wrong with it'?so dont know what to do!think will end up getting it as i just love the colour and i loved my pliko!(ds(6) broke it,honestly it wasnt me!)
