Logo Needed - anyone a graphic designer?

I need a logo for a new business venture, but don't know of any graphic designers, and seeing a list of them in Yellow Pages doesn't inspire me!!

Any advice, or is anyone or dp one? Please CAT me if so. Many thanks. (PS: I'm not after this FOC by the way!)

I have friend who run a very good graphic design agency in Nottingham (office in London too I think). They have done work for Radio 1 and Ministry of Sound. Their agency is called Output, sorry I don't have their email address to hand, but they should be in yell.com if you search in Nottingham.

a friend of mine is just setting up on his own and has been a graphic designer for years - i can't remeber his email right now but i'll CAT it too you when i find it out.
