Commuting to Walsall Area

Living abroad at the moment and hoping to move to Shropshire this year. Would anyone know what the commute is like from Newport to Walsall area by car as DH might be working around there? Or is there a website for looking up info like that - google hasn't produced any useful results! Thanks very much for any assistance

You are looking at approximately 40 minute drive (assuming no traffic jams). Depending where you are travelling to in Walsall then it will either be via M54 and A41 or the M6 and A5.

Nine times out of ten you will encounter heavy traffic as these routes also 'feed' into Birmingham and Wolverhampton, so would allow an hour each way to be safe
