How does the blocking thing work?

If I 'block' someone do they not see when I am online? does it mean they cannot send me messages? Do they know they are blocked?

And what about if someone 'blocks' me? Does it mean if I send them messages they dont get them?

You appear as offline, they don't know they are blocked, they just think you're not there, it doesn't affect emails...

I block lots of people all the time and they never know

so if someone had blocked me but appeared as online and I sent a message then he wouldnt get it?

They couldn't appear online on your MSN if they had blocked you and you would never appear on someone else's msn if you had blocked them

When you block someone they will see you as offline.

If someone blocked you they will always appear as offline to you...
