Friends of ours agreed on thursday to stay over night with us tonight because we are all having to get up very early to got to a theme park today (as the time is now past 12am!) but instead of being honest and telling me they'd rather be at home, they opted to text me all day saying they wouldlet me know as soon as their cat had come home. It is my fathers birthday today and we had the offer of going out to dinner with my parents and close friends for a very nice meal, and by the time friends had text to say they weren't coming coz the cat had only just come in, it was too late to join the meal. I am
