Car Headlight Bulb

Been moaning to dh about the number of cars driving on dodgy headlights only to realise this am that my main beam bulb is out . Will Halfords replace it for me ?

Yes they will - but they are shites and I wouldn't go to them to get it replaced. Both times I've gone they've buggered it up. Second time they dropped the bulb into the engine - had a look for it said it must have dropped out somewhere. I ended up having to take it to the main dealership, where they had to remove the front bit of the engine to find the bulb.

I really don't think they know what they are doing and you are better doing it yourself (should tell you how in the manual) or going to a local garage.

not sure I have much choice as will need to go on way to work. The others are the likes of Kwik Fit and it will be dark before I get home to look myself.
