have just changed from southern electric to british gas. Was told to run down credit fairly on metre before switching over otherwise I'll lose it. Let it run too low and electric went off so took british gas key to shop to get credit on. Put ten pounds on. Got back home, it didn't work, realized I had forgotten to register key before taking it to shop so metre didn't recognize it.

My corded phone has juststopped working and I onlyhave cordless; as no electric they didn't work so couldn't ring british gas. It was nearly dinner tiem so got DDs back in puschchair, went round corner to phone box. It had been vandalized; walked all the way back to shopping cntre to use phone box there. Then realized I had forgotten to bring british gas number and my customer number.

Youngest woke up hungry. Went to cafe, we all had something to eat, hate spending money eating out when theres food in house but I had nothing to cook on. Put DD2 back in pushchair, she projectile vomitted all over herself, floor, pushchair and DD1.

Got keys for baby change from security, left key in door, and got locked in, so spent half an hour banging and screaming til someone came to my rescue. Then went to toilet and after much struggling thought I'd managed to lock it, by this time I was desperate so sat on toilet before checking whether anyone had weed on the seat which they had so sat on a wee covered seat, then someone walked in, saw me with trousers at my ankles, muttered something like "You could have locked the door" and went out. I also had to go to toilet with DD2 as pushchair was so soaked with sick I couldn'tput her back in it.

She then threw up again twice before leaving the shopping centre. Got back home, finally found my mobile, and spent a fortune ringing British Gas to get elec sorted out. And now desperately trying to get cover off pushchair so I can clean it properly (it goes in the machine). But I need to undo four screws and two are so tight they won't budge!

Then DD2 threw up

What a bloody awful day! On the bright side - after this, every time you have a bad day, you can say to yourself "At least it isn't as bad as the time I ran out of electric, etc, etc..." Grin
