Laundrettes and service washes - how does it all work?
Is it really like in Eastenders?

I am awaiting my new washing machine and may have to use the laundrette in the interim

you take your washing in a bag and say can I have a service wash please. They tell you when it will be ready. Make sure to say if you want it drying!
I loved it when my machine was broken they folded it so neatly after it was dried hardly anything needed ironing!!

Does it matter what kind of bag? Do you leave the bag with them?

yes you leave the bag unless you want them to put the washing on the floor. ikea big blue bags are good. a bin bag will do but not those cheapo ones
