how much do cleaners charge?

hi, as I have recently returned to work I am considering employing the services of a house cleaner.

How much should I expect to pay for someone to come once a week to simply dust, vacuum and generally tidy up?

We have an average sized 3 bed semi.

£10 per hour

I pay £10 an hour, we're in London.

£10 ph, often a minimum of 2 hours per week or 3 hours every fortnight.

I pay mine 25.85 for 2hrs - fully insured, reliable, brings her own Hoover & cleaning products
Does a weekly clean - kitchen, living room, dining room, utility, family bathroom, wc, 2 bedrooms & hallway.
We tidy before she comes so she can just clean.
Occasionally she does extra & does spare room, en-suite & my office but don't get dirty enough for regular clean.
(DHs office never gets cleaned as we haven't seen the floor for years due to his 'horizontal filing system' )
