Santa bought me a shiny electric toothbrush and I hate it. Really hate it. Can't stand the feeling in my head when using it, I mean who puts a vibrator on your teeth. Think it's because it reminds me of he dentists drill.

So.... Is using an electric toothbrush for 10/15 seconds (seriously that's all I can cope with) or a manual for a couple of mins better ?

you are the same as DD. We all have electric, but she cannot abide the feel of it, so is the only one on a manual. Dentist very pleased with her brushing and no fillings for years (aged 18)
So go with what you prefer.

They are different actions and have different benefits.

I use manual in the morning and electric at night to make use of the different motions.

I expect 15s of electric isn't efficient tho and is worse than properly done manual.

Hate them as well!! Only manual for me.
I'm 30 and no fillings

Think I'll pass on using the electric one then, I can't believe how much I hate the feeling .....

Manual has worked up to now 45 and 3 fillings .
