Crane flies

Is it that time of year again when those nasty flies are everywhere?
I just found one attacking the lamp but it wasn't massive so I was very brave and got rid of it. I just hope its mummy and daddy wasn't watching!

well then I'm glad you only showed that one. They are horrible, especially when they attack me in my house!

I've heard they can be quite hard to fend off when they attack in numbers

This one was on his own. Lets hope his friends are not hiding as we had lots of windows open today. I just know they are in my bedroom, its obvious!

I once nearly killed myself changing train carriages as it was just pulling away from the platform, all to get away from one. Pathetic, but I felt it was essential at the time

I almost jumped out of a moving car once because one flew in the window. Then DH nearly killed me because I scared the life out of him by doing that!
