Ditzsy Moments

Thought I'd start a thread on 'Ditzsy Moments' inspired by mine and DS's v.embaressing library visit...
Went to pick up a Tellitubbies DVD that I'd ordered. Standing at the counter..
What I should have said: Hello, I've got a Tellitubbies DVD to collect entitled 'Naughty Noo Noo.
What I said: I've got a Naughty Noo Noo, err.. (err what am a saying, err, err).
Librarian: 'You've got a 'Naughty Noo Noo', well that's quite confession. (Starts laughing and looking at me very quizzically).
Me: Err, ha ha ha ha, yes I've er got a Naughty Noo Noo, hahaha, sorry, hahahah DVD...
The worse thing was I then started laughing hysterically and then couldn't finish what I was saying. The people there were looking at me like I was a nutter. Eventually I managed to point at the DVD's and left very quickly. Was funny but can I ever go there again?!!!

PMSL at this Won't look at Noo Noo in the same light ever again!

My friend (really, not me) had a meeting with a big boss in charge of funding and was worried that she would forget to shake his hand at the end of the meeting so she kept saying to herself "shake his hand, shake his hand"

At the end of the meeting, he stood up to leave and she said to him "let me give you a shake"

He was horrified! Think he thought she was really desperate for the funding

My DP would agree with you SM. All I get now is "How's your naughty noo noo", Mummy's got a Naughty Noo Noo" (DS at 11m too young to understand, thankfully).

No more 'Dizty Moment' stories from anyone??? I'm disapointed! Surely I'm not the only one who does this kind of thing!

I have heaps of ditzy moment stories...typically can't remember any right now
