Just got a call from my mother's FORMER carer who asked if she could arrange a meeting to review my mother's case/see how she's doing. I had to let her know that she died late last year. Poor woman, realise it's not her fault, but does NO ONE pass on any bloody information.

My parents have lived in their house for 5 years and they still get mail for the previous tenent who died six years ago!!
You'd think the carers would know though

Sykes,
that is horrible for both you and her. When my Grandmother passed away her Homehelp turned up as my father was sorting out the house. Noone had informed her either, despite him having asked ss to, and she was devastated.

Ime, no, they don't pass on info, Sykes. SS called at my mum's to deliver specialist bathing equipment for my dad. Shame it had been his funeral the previous day. I'm sorry this has happened to you, as well.
