Really boring question about wooden blinds

I've been in this house three years and never cleaned the wooden venetian blind in the bathroom. Blush. I pulled it up the other day to open the window, and nearly suffocated in the avalanche of dust that came off it. It's about a foot away from the window, so there's nothing for it to lean against when I tried to dust it. It's also very wide and long, so not easy to take off and put back up. Has anyone any suggestion about the best way to clean it? Going out now, but will log on later. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

nozzley bit of hoover

Lakeland, Betterware etc do special venetian-blind-dusting gadgets with fluffy prongs that slide between the slats but they look too fiddly for me.

Thanks, Mrs B. I'll try and persevere with the hoover. I don't have the patience for these custom-made blind cleaner thingies either. Life's too short.

Feather duster?

The lovely MNer StGeorge very kindly gave me one of those cleaning contraptions.
I think one of those polish wipes would be good too, assuming you have the patience.
It will leave an anti dust finish too.
