Im after a laptop and see Dell are offering one for £299 which seems an excellent price. I dont know what it does though so could someone have a look and let me know Blush.

I need something that I can use wireless and to browse MN, emails and do just general stuff on.

I have a Dell latitude and it's fab. Only just got it. It's very small and ideal for surfing the net and having on my scrapping desk. I also have my main pc for the big stuff.

Dh sells pc's and has a batch of second hand laptops in (this is one of them but it has a button missing so he couldn't sell it so guess who got it lol)

If you want to post a link to the laptop you're looking at I'll get dh to have a look and give his professional opinion

I'll ask him to have a quick look today

Kelly1978 · 11/04/2006 09:36

what do u want it for? It's pretty basic, but great for the price.

Kelly1978 · 11/04/2006 09:38

sorry, I you said what you wanted it for. It doesn't say if it is wireless ennabled, so you would have to check, but most are nowadays. Ypu might have to pay extra for a wireless card. With dell you can usually opt out of the 90 day collect and return service too, which knocks a bit more off, even if you have to pay for a wireless upgrade.

Pixiefish · 11/04/2006 09:41

Not bad but it is bottom end dell and will probably cost a whole load more by the time it arrives. also be careful with the warranty as it's normally only 90 days standard
