the saga continues..the house we loved has now gone because of toss pot who put in last offer then changed mind with out so much a bye you leave..but we have a guy coming tonight who has been looking at 2bed near us and thinks there rubbish so has decided to look at three's..there are not many three bed semis here and without being a big head, ours is really nice very high standard inside(last owners did a lot of it), clean and utterly unoffensive, our garden is on the small side, but as we thought when we bought the area is so lovely and the house is great, we wern't botherd(still got patio then nice lawn plus shed tucked behind garage, so half garden is walled and looks pretty).. i know its too late for the one we wanted as i rang agent earlier, but we just want to sell now cos we've never really waited this lng beforeSad

oh i see..duh sorry!
he didnt say?, there are cheaper 3 bed semis than this but the 'area' differs significantly IYKWIM and there are also one or two toher close buy with much higher price tags but less attractive ie:old wood windows, lots of decor changing etc??

should have had another first time buyer coming today..just hope this guy isnt messing around as we could have had loads of veiwings this bank hol weekend?

OP posts:
hulababy · 12/04/2006 09:42

That's excellent. He sounds a good bet - offering asking price and being first time buyer. Looks like you have a busy Bank Holiday house viewing now!

EvesMama · 12/04/2006 09:46

oh i wish hula..nothing new come on market in areas we looking at, so gunna have to go over old ground to rule out houses i saw on my own..but veryGrin at selling this, he'll give us time to find something, but if its dragging on, i dont want to rush into anything this time, so we will rent if push comes to shove, dont want to but better than spending £1000's and not really wanting to be there

i also did this with sky, they told me id have to pay £40 to get dish and installation here, but when i said ntl would do it free and i was disgusted as we'd been with sky for years she quick as a shot waverd the charge!

we should start a 'moving home' tips threadSmile

I think we are going to take advantage of the new Talk Talk deal, ie free broad band with your phone, they are also offering free calls between talk talk customers and this includes Ireland and as my mum uses them over there it will save us a bundle!

Fingers crossed for you EvesM btw
