you could complain to the store where you bought it too in case it is a problem with a batch.

Have found an address and phone number for you: James Robertson and Sons, Fitzroy Street, Manchester M43 6DR - 0161 371 1010.

crikey..complain to the store and the maufacturer.
my ds nearly choked on a white plastic tube that was in a geobar we bought from tesco, i complained to tesco as there was no address or telephone number on the packaging.
tesco sent a letter of apology and some store vouchers.

I found a lump of wood in a jar of loyd grossman pasta sauce. They made me return the jar + wood by post (at my expense) then sent me a snotty letter saying they have tested it and it couldn't have got in th jar at any stage and therefore was not their error. Really pissed me off.

nikcola · 10/04/2006 13:53

they just rang they are sending me a jiffy bag and want me to send the jar and the glass to them so they can get the factory to see hwere it came from and then they will compensate me, ffs dont care about money just dont want some poor child swallowing glass, will take photo of glass before i send it off

I opened a bag of Walkers crisps and found sweet wrappers inside. I wrote to Walkers but like cupcakes I just got a snotty letter back saying it was impossible that this could have happened on their production line.

A friend of my Mum's found a screw in her frozen peas, she went back to the shop, kicked up a huge fuss with them and the manufacturers. Got loads of vouchers etc in compensation. A few weeks later she realised the screw was missing from the bottom of her pepper grinder ....

A friend of mine found there was something in her baby formula, they asked for it to be sent them, which she did, but she kept some back. Just as well, as the company returned saying formula was fine, she said OK I'll get the amount Ikept back tested by an independant laboratory...they gave her a substantial compensation in order she did not take it further. The formuls (SMA), had something mixed in it by accident and had made child pretty ill.

I bought a multipack of niknaks for the kids, when I got them home 2 of the bags inside were open.

I emailed golden wonder and they sent me out 72 packs of niknaks within a fortnight
