Snowing again!

On and off all day it has been snowing - in April!!! This is not normal surely? At times it has been pretty heavy and it has settled a little bit too. Now gone more sleety and too wet to continue to settle. It is cold out there!

Its not even exciting at this time of year is it?

We had a few flurries up here in Scotland but today it has been lovely and sunny although very windy and very, very cold.

We are in Sheffield, but on the edge and pretty high up. This time last year it was really warm. On DD's birthday last year (5th) we were sat on the balcony of our apartment drinking wine. This year it was freezing!

Not snowing down here in Surrey, have known it snow on March 17th in Dublin, memories of the schools rugby final and piercing cold come to mind,emotionally scarred ?? Moi ??, but seriously I can not remember it snowing this late.

Only ever seen snow about 3 times in my life, last was 18th b'day, 8.5 yrs ago. ds's never seen snow. swap

It is Easter, a time of rebirth, I love this time of year.

We had big time snow here about three weeks ago, we are talking a good foot or more.

No, what I mean is I always get excited by the snow am really childish, but at easter when its supposed to be springlike and getting warmer it doesn't make me excited its annoying

I love easter too, I get to see lots of family that i don't see much of, and I love the anticipation of summer

Its always freezing at Easter isn't it, April in like a lion and out like a lamb. Or is that March?????

Not last year though. As I said before, this time last ear it was lovely and quite warm.

Ok, I was economical with the truth, it snowed during the night, settled, then froze.
