Nintendogs

I am thinking about buying my sons a nintendo DS each with the nintendogs game, are they girly? I think the boys would love them but they seem more geared towards girls!?

Also, my boys are 7 and 5 (by the time they get one at christmas they will be nearly 6 and 8) so are they 'age apropriate' for them? will they be able to work them?

TIA! (I wouldnt mind one myself actually! Blush)

ermmm I have a nintendo ds with nintendo dogs but can never get on it as my 2.5yr old constantly wants to play doggies.[I do limit it before anyone jumps on me] but he loves it and must admit I find it rather good myself.

My ds (13.5) got his last year (from ebay, overseas seller, good value) and my ds2(11.5) and dd (10) got theirs at Xmas - it seems to be great fun and something which they go back to, but ds2 has dyspraxia so he gets pretty frustrated as the dogs aren't that easy to make perform, you have to say commands in the same tone of voice, coupled with different strokes of the stylus. If they are keen go for it Smile
