Ds1 has t-mobile - I'd say it's definitely worse than mine (o2). We're in the Midlands if that's of any relevance.

jellyjelly · 07/04/2006 16:18

I always found t to be wuite good in reading didnt really have a problem at all. If it was a lower bar i would move my head and it would be great. I think i might be going back to them, am on 3 and they have rubbish cus service.

biglips · 07/04/2006 18:22

yes my sil was on 3 and she said never again as the reception was rubbish

I get a good reception on contract but sister who is pay as you go has a c**p one. Were in Birmingham.

TopBanana · 07/04/2006 18:27

Not too bad. O2 has 98% coverage of the uk, voda have about 94% and t-mobile have about 90-92%.

I have t-mobile and don't really have any problems.

biglips · 07/04/2006 18:27

as there is a poss that me and dp will get one each on the contract

You have to have 2 separate price plans but can be billed together

biglips · 07/04/2006 18:32

i dont have a rpoblem with T mobile signal round here (down south)

PutAPeachyInYourSimnelCake · 07/04/2006 19:07

Must depend on where you are, DH has had T Mobile for years and years (well with whatever it was called before anyhow) and has always found it good, both living in Somerset, being out on the Levels, in Bristol and now in wales, even the Valleys.

My Virgin is OK too, I've nver had a problem.

Oh but Orange... !!! Had one years ago and I had to stand in a particular area in the kitchen with my ohone up in the air on tiptoes to dial out.

Vodaphone (only one on Contract- PAYG suits us better we learned) was OK until we went into the wilds which is easy to do with opur lives. O2 (and this is many, many years ago- 6? Blush) was excellent only changed it as we were given an orange phone for a wedding gift.

Dh swears with T-Mobile after they credited his account for free to help him when the car broke down, he couldn't get through to me and he was out of credit .

AllieBongo · 07/04/2006 19:15

t-mobile is the only reception we can get here! i've no complaints

BonyM · 07/04/2006 19:21

It's terrible where we live - I often have to walk around the house to try to get a signal. Ok everywhere else though - just seems to be bad in our house!
