We'll have to get a new one soon, ours is 22 years old - still works fine and the parts are still available but it is corroding inside and we get the odd leak. It's a Vaillant and they are the bees knees but very expensive - he said Worcester Bosch are pretty good too and cheaper.

He might have mentioned another but those 2 are the best (and he said not to get it from BGas because they charge way over the odds! Have you got a tame plumber?)

it's for the new house, I am trying to do some homework before I talk to the plumber (we've had one recommended to us)
