I'm looking at booking a sun holiday, if anyone has today's Sun could they please tell me the codeword printed underneath the holiday token?
I asked yesterday and all the Sun readers were too cowardly to admit it Grin

just check the haven site myself, they have a 4 night break at Allhallows (mouth of the thames) for 79 quid on the 8th of may. its not everyones idea of a location for holidays, and admittingly theres not much close to the site, but its one of the places we can go to with peter due to its closeness to the M25. its ok for the kids, we went last year.

daisy1999 · 05/04/2006 13:12

hi yackerty or GDG - do you have todays word?
hopefully I will be well enough to venture out again either tomorrow or friday and do my own dirty work Grin

Hi, I can tell you todays and saturdays. I'm not ashamed to admit to buying the Sun. We've had holidays with them for last three years. It's the only way we can afford to go away - never find anything cheap enough on haven website where we want to go. Dorset is an expensive holiday area. We always have a great time and can't wait to go again - the kids love it.
Enough waffling - todays is sand and saturdays was ball.

Daisy....its not a problem if you can't get out I am happy to pass on the word - One really dumb question for you....what do you do with the words???? Are they instead of collecting tokens??

Sat Ball
Mon case
Tue home
Wed sand
Thu -

We only get it on a Saturday but I don't think it's anything to be ashamed about. Not sure what a 'typical sun reader' is so not sure if I am one or not Smile

daisy1999 · 06/04/2006 09:02

daisy1999 · 07/04/2006 14:14

yackerty - they have only just started it this time and you have to have been sent a priority booking form which gives you your ref to book online.

yackertyyack · 07/04/2006 15:08

daisy1999 · 07/04/2006 16:39

daisy1999 - how did you book your hol? I have a priory form but I cannot get into the website ukholidaysinthesun? Did you have any trouble?

Karenann · 07/04/2006 17:29

Ignore my previous post - just tried again and I have got into the site.

justmummy · 07/04/2006 19:38

Glad you booked your break ok. I booked ours as well. We're off to Poole in Dorset in June. So great being able to do it online. I actually got to book my first choice and got 4 nights as well. Normally end up with 3 nights and our last choice of park.

mumlove · 07/04/2006 21:34

justmummy - I live in Poole and I hope the weather will be nice in June for you, it was very sunny here (in Poole) mon - thurs but today we have had a few showers. What are you going to visit while you are here?

jollymum · 07/04/2006 21:55

OOOOH, just posted my own thread. It's alright for you lot with littlies to scoff and take out of school holidays but not all of us can. Why can't I get anything up on the site except one crappy holiday site left?! I want 28th Aug for 4 night, not a sausage. Reiterating my other thread, how is that fair??My DH earns loads, but gets stuffed in tax. Brings home £15 less than he should and we spend at least £2k on mortgage, bills, living etc. (not clothes, posh stuff, just gas, electric etc) Four kids and not one foreign holiday in 15 years because we have to go in school holidays and you're talking about what 3-4K to get there, plus spending dosh.

justmummy · 08/04/2006 11:30

mumlove - no idea what we're going to do yet so any places you recommend would be great. Ds is 8 and dd is 4 so need things to keep them amused. We have been to Dorset before and love it there but not been to Poole at all yet. So far we've always had lovely weather as well.

mumlove · 09/04/2006 17:52

justmummy - I have started a thread for you with ideas on under DAYS OUT Recommendations.
