dd 14yrs had a sleepover last night.11am was the pre-arranged time for parents to collect.

Said rude bitch has just collected her dd,1hr45m late ffs,and not a word of thanks or apology.
I am stunned with anger and dismay. The dd managed a mumbled thank you.

She's never setting foot in this house again.

rant over ,thank you for letting me let off steam, feel much better nowSmile

This has happened to me - dd1 has friends to play - she's 8. Sometimes parents are late (an hr or more) to pick up their kid from my house. They also know I've 3 other kids younger as well - ages 5, 2 & 6 months. They don't consider this. Just annoys me.

lucylady · 04/04/2006 12:57

No excuse for not apologising for her lateness.
I would be cross too.

moondog · 04/04/2006 12:57

Silly cow.
I would have answered the door with my coat on.
N.don't let her back.

GDG · 04/04/2006 13:00

How rude!! Gosh, if I'm 5 minutes late I'm apologising profusely!!!

brimfull · 04/04/2006 13:03

This is the second time she's picked up her dd without a word of thanks .Would like to slap her!

my next door neighbour once asked my kids to go play (this was when we first moved in so i didnt know then that she was a loonatic!!)i let the kids go round, but 20 mins later they were knocking at the door.neighbour had told them to come home because her dh was home.fair enough, thought i!(my lot can get abit loud!)the next day,she was out in the garden and said 'i'll send the kids over in abit'i asked why, thinking i'd forgotten something, she said 'well,i did have yours over yesterday'.again, fair enough,so they came round.i chucked them all in the garden, and the cheeky bitch came out and said 'go in the house because me and your dad are having a meal and we'd like some peace and quiet'i was gobsmacked!i sent them home after an hour and they came back saying 'mummy said we have to stay at your house!'i was livid!!!they stayed for 3 hours, wrecked my house and gave my kids nits!!

brimfull · 04/04/2006 13:22

the dd hates her mum, apparently she isn't allowed to have anyone round her house, isn't allowed to grow her hair, not permitted to go to b'day party discos.

Would love to send her the bill, don't know her address unfortunately cos in this mood I just might,

police have said she has that munchausens by proxy.she tells people her kids are dying and everything!i spoke to dd's social worker about her and the way she treats her kids.pleased to say that social services were on her doorstep the other day.

brimfull · 04/04/2006 13:27

Can you move?

OP posts:
buffythenappyslayer · 04/04/2006 13:31

the housing association came this morning as we have put another official complaint in.they are going to move us anyway as we are overcrowded (got 5 kids and dd has cf so needs her own room for physio equiptment).am annoyed though that she will think shes drove us away.can see her smug grin now!housing said we have to keep nuisance diary and send it to them after 2 weeks,as they might be able to take her to court as there have been other people complaining about her.

brimfull · 04/04/2006 13:34

pity the poor people who move into yours.

OP posts:
buffythenappyslayer · 04/04/2006 13:37

im going to leave a note for them warning them about her!hopefully housing will evict her.she got evicted from her last 3 houses!

Hallgerda · 04/04/2006 15:53

You have my sympathy. Two children weren't collected after DS1's fifth birthday party. An hour after the end of the party DH walked them home (it's as well they knew where they lived...). He wasn't thanked. Needless to say I haven't invited them again.

buffythenappyslayer · 04/04/2006 19:23

ggirl, kids came home today and told me that her kids have said they are getting taken into care because of me!i dont know if its true, but the way she is with them it could be.but then again its the sort of thing shed say to scare her kids!

grannygoose · 04/04/2006 21:00

Oh dear - I was just reading out all these stories to DH and we were shaking our heads and wondering why people are like this when I suddenly remembered something from my own childhood. I was about 15 and I went to a meeting at someone's house (first time I met them). My dad was supposed to collect me after the meeting. I remember him being very late and that I was so embarassed, and thought he was never coming. He was at the cinema with his girlfriend! I wonder what the girls parents said about me at the time...I am sure that they were waiting for me to leave so that they could go to bed. But then my dad is a selfish !"£$% sometimes.
