Whilst sitting on the toilet!

I can see, tree tops, roof tops, countryside and the Atlantic Ocean in the distance

AllieBongo · 04/04/2006 21:51

glad you stopped at the view from the bog, not in the bog

jmg1 · 04/04/2006 21:52

I'm sure logs has been done on another thread

lucy5 · 04/04/2006 21:55

I can see the sea, palm trees and a mountain.

eidsvold · 04/04/2006 21:57

front windows - across street to a park area - trees, koalas if we are lucky.

back windows - our garden, back neighbour's pool and garden( now they have chopped down large tree) and side neighbours gardens ( only cause we have a hig set house and are built on a slope.

nowanearlyNicemum · 05/04/2006 08:46

from the front we can see out across the valley, a golf course and lots of new developments, with the snow-capped mountains in the distance (can't quite glimpse them today as it's foggy this morning)

from the back we can see cars parked, lots of greenery and a teeny weeny glimpse of the Mediterranean.

certainly beats the view from our last flat!

schneebly · 05/04/2006 08:50

To the front we have hills and trees and a little country road, to the back we have a river and an old water mill Smile.

From my window i can see trees fields and fells all bathed in sunlight, the postman delivering letters. from the back i can see fields. I can hear the birds!

milward · 05/04/2006 08:54

Still the same - trees & hedges & neighbours gardens. Not much happening - in fact nothing at all.

lovemygirl · 05/04/2006 09:04

We are really lucky. We have fantastic views of London including the Houses of Parliament and the wheel, St Pauls and Canary Wharf! Worth being slightly out of town in vaguely dodgy area!

tootiredtotalk · 05/04/2006 09:16

from my patio doors i can see the driveway to m husbands stud, from the front window i can see three horses, in fact from every window i can see horses.

cupcakes · 05/04/2006 09:17

from where i sit at the back of our house I can see THE BUILDERS!! Today is teh first day of building our new extension so am very pleased to see them hard at it. Grin

kleggie · 05/04/2006 10:14

I can see my patio and my apple trees, leading on to the river (lots of swans, couple of canadian geese, two mallards, a boat). There is a marshy conservation area beyond that with a couple of herons mooching about. Then some rolling fields and a train line in the distance. It's very scenic, but flat. Well, I am in Norfolk!

In approximately ten minutes, the view from my window will also contain Kleggie in a canoe... I'm going to the supermarket in it and thereby cultivating my 'local eccentric' image!

CountessDracula · 05/04/2006 10:16

I'm in my study and I can see two trees in beautiful blossom and the house opposite with a blue front door....lots of blue sky above it and sunshine Grin

eidsvold · 05/04/2006 10:24

Out of our front window I can see houses and Blackpool tower. Out of the back there is a church hall where I can watch people doing yoga and other strange things on an evening Grin

bakedpotato · 05/04/2006 10:48

View down street, trees in bud, parking attendants (and from time to time, hoodies testing car doors)

hulababy · 05/04/2006 10:56

From front and back it is pretty much the same. We can see other houses on the estate and the road. Quite nice looking houses, etc though. Good vantage points though when visitors are expected as high up. From kitchen you can see onto the hills and fields beyond.

Donbean · 05/04/2006 11:01

upstairs window i can see the house at the front of ours then fields with sheep grazing with the little lambs, blue skies and trees in bud.
Down stairs some horses and riders have just trotted past, lots of joggers and grannies and grandads pshing grandchildren in prams.
Lovely. Smile
Not even a hint of Blackpool tower from here Bubble. Grin

bubblerock · 05/04/2006 11:14

SPARKLER1 · 05/04/2006 11:16

A hedge in my front garden that's getting a bit overgrowm. If I peer through the gaps I can see black heathland where we had the massive fire a couple of weeks ago. Sad Sad

alexsmum · 05/04/2006 11:33

i can see my lilac tree which is covered in buds and has a couple of bluetits pecking about on it.i can see my garden shed, a rose bush, the washing line and the gardens of other houses stretching out beyond our garden.
out of the other window i can see the street, the house opposite and the local vicar's car parked outside.
