bran · 04/04/2006 14:12

Right now from the computer I can see some of the other blocks in my development and the Thames. From my sitting room I can see the same view to the west. To the east I can see the Millenium Dome, Tate and Lyle sugar factory, planes taking off from City Airport, most of the Greenwich University and the Thames, and to the north I can see Canary Wharf.

MissChief · 04/04/2006 14:12

it's not allowed up there is it?
Wink

GDG · 04/04/2006 14:13

Tis glorious today and once ds3 is up I'll be chucking them all out into the garden!

mythumbelinas · 04/04/2006 14:13

wessexgirl · 04/04/2006 14:14

I can see a 3-storey block of council flats and the backs of a parade of shops - some mornings I get to see the butchers' lorry unloading pig carcasses.

But we do have 'sea glimpses' from our bathroom window.

blueteddy · 04/04/2006 14:15

Front view - cars & houses
Back view - my neighbours gardens & beyond that more cars & houses!

georginarf · 04/04/2006 14:18

Tortington · 04/04/2006 14:41

yackertyyack · 04/04/2006 14:49

BUT olive oil.....was thinking bout you the other day as the lady from XFM said the posters were up around picadilly square and I vaguely remembered you saying you were round there!! Now not sure how good they are but did you see one of 4 little babies in shirts and jackets??? Meant to resemble Franz Ferdinand?????

oliveoil · 04/04/2006 14:54

I have seen:

White Stripes
Liam and Noel
Magic Numbers
and one with lots of people on that dh drove past too fast

They are really cute.

Pah.

Gingerbear · 04/04/2006 14:55

a bowling green, some drum pallets and a distillation column. Nice mixture.
Better than one place I worked - a Fishmeal factory!

Gingerbear · 04/04/2006 14:57

My brother's house has a lovely view - rolling fields, woods and a stream running at the bottom of his garden.

chjlly · 04/04/2006 14:58

AllieBongo · 04/04/2006 21:27

sheep!

Mirage · 04/04/2006 21:45

Alliebongo, thats all I can hear at the minute-sheep.We are in the middle of lambing & the sheep outnumber humans about 30-1 around here Grin

AllieBongo · 04/04/2006 21:47

well, they took my sheep away, then brought them back today, without putting the elctric fence back up. I had a crazed sheep in my garden. scooped ds up and legged it indoors. Ignorant sheep man didn't even apologise! They are all owned by Sheikh Mohammed. Don't know why he has tons of sheep, he trains horses????

lou33 · 04/04/2006 21:48

My garden. I can't see any neighbours as we are fully surrounded by 7ft hedging, and not directly overlooked by anyone
