TV help please!

I bought a new digital tv today and Im unsure how to connect it to my sky, video and dvd player. It has two scart leads on the back of the TV and I have spoken with the helpline twice but each time have been told two different things. When I did try to connect it as they said the digital part of the tv wont work. Anyone electrically minded and able to help me please? Help would be greatly appreciated.

No help, 3GM, but I do sympathise - bought my TV and video from a local shop partly in order to have them do the connections - the bloke kindly also connected Sky + DVD for me because I am a total numpty. The bloke did tell me the sequence when he did it and I wish I'd written it down as I have forgotten it! Good luck, I'm sure someone will be able to help.

Hang on - vague recollection just kicked in - Sky box -> VCR -> TV (1st SCART) and then just DVD -> TV (2nd SCART)? Does that work? But mine isn't a digital TV - yours may need tuning in or something? Is the helpline the manufacturer or the supplier?

Thanks for that Jan. They did say its different with digital . The helpline is the shop that I bought it from maybe I would be better to contact the supplier direct!
