This tells me all I need to know i.e. how long my miniscule runs actually are, hard to tell from the OS map as error in measuring is too great, even with the daft little gadget I bought on ebay.
Wonderful, thanks dinny Grin

now that is good! shame they don't have the detailed maps for switzerland though so useless for me.

glad you all lke it - CM, didn't know you ran (or had I forgotten....?)

went for lovely run at lunchtime today (dh home for the week so it was sans buggy - fab!) would have spent ages plaguing dh as to how far he thought the route was but easy-peasy to work out (and it was just over 5 miles, v pleased with self). love the calories-burnt bit too - v motivating.

I do indeed, although I was a cross country runner pre preg. now I only run cause I am too lazy to carry the bike down the stairs!!!

I have used the gmap site for calculating mileage for runs and have found it excellent. Have driven routes in the past to try and get an idea of how far I am running. Certainly better than doing that.
