O.k, this is probably going to make me look a bit thick but here goes. Do you get a bill for going on MN or not ?? I ask because whilst reading a cuople of threads some people have mentioned a MN bill and DH being annoyed at how much it costs. I have been on MN virtually non stop for the past 2 weeks so if i,m gonna get a bill i better get off now. I pay monthly for my internet access (well i will do, am on free trial at the mo) and i can go on whenever i like. Am i being a bit thick here ?? I am confused

No idea what they were talking about. However, MN does ask for a subscription if you can afford to give. I have made two very small ones, which were all that I could personally afford, but will give more when I can.

There is no "bill" as such so dont worry

There is a subscription available for people who feel they would like to contribute to the running of mumsnet see here for more info

I think that people are referring to dial up when they talk about their MN bill.

Thank god for that I'd have hated to feel i was restricted on how often/long i could come on. As a new M Netter i paid my sub the other day> Dp said i was mad (as i couldn't really afford it) but i think it's such a great site and would miss it so much if it dissapeared.

nutcracker, I'd be bankrupt if Mumsnet changed by the minute.

charged even, it does change by the minute that's why it's so addictive.

Got my subcription reminder yesterday actually.
Can't believe I've been here a year already, how time flies when you're enjoying yourself

The amount of time I spend on here I should give DH's entire salary..........will give more than last year though when DH gets home from work.
