Happy New Year to all Mums Netters.

Last year we rented a lovely farmhouse in Norfolk with some friends for a week in April. (It was Easter week when the weather was absolutely fab).

We'd like to do it again this year and would love to hear any of your recommendations please.

We will be a group of three families (6 adults and 4 children) and we might have 2 more adults staying for some of the week. We'd want 3 bathrooms and would rather have excess accomodation than be squashed.

We also have a dog in our group (well behaved) and would like a place with plenty of outdoor space for the dog and for the children/adults.

We went to a fantastic place last year but dont really want to go back as there are so many other places in the UK that we'd like to visit but we're a tad worried that nowhere will be quite as nice. The farmhouse last year was just perfect.

Location needs to be within a 2/3 hour drive of North London (Junction 24 on the M25).

Thanks very much in advance for any ideas you all might have.

mckenzie - we've stayed in Tenby, S Wales, a couple of times, and although the house we had would be too small for you, we got it through these people .
Its a really lovely place to go, blue flag beaches, beautiful countryside, and some nice, small restaurants if you manage an evening without the children.
It took us 4 hours when we went from London, but that included a really long stop at a service station as ds1 wouldn't eat his dinner then refused to go back into his car seat.

We have used Welcome Cottages a few times and they have always been really good.

We've used country cottages twice, fabulous both times
