head size for 2.5 year old

just seen a cycle helmet on ebay, says it fits up to 54cms... is that about the right size for 2.5 year olds head.... dont wanna go and wake her up...!

Ds is 2.5 and is that size but his big sister who is 7 is only a few cm more! Sorry I think you will need to measure as age is not really a great guide.
