Birth registration....Does anyone know?

Does anyone know how i can access online a birth register for a particular town? Im looking for details of a baby born this year.Any one any ideas of where i can find information ??

TBH I'm not sure if they'll publish that kind of information.

I am fairly certain the indexes are not published that quickly - your would have to contact the registrar in the district direct - and I am not sure they would give out that information to just anyone.

You can buy a copy of anyone's birth certificate but you would need to know some basic details. What info do you have?
