Sent it Becca

I am not sure how you get to open it if Outlook removes the attachement. It does that to mine sometimes. I will have a look at the internet settings on mine and see if I can figure it out.Or I will ask my ICT technician at school tomorrow if I can't. What a pain!

Hulababy · 05/01/2004 18:04

Becca - yours came back to me too this time by your content filter. It is something to do with Outlook rejecting the database attachments but not sure why - same problem with Melsy. I will try and figure it out after had my tea. Sorry about this.

melsy · 05/01/2004 18:05

Thank you Hula

Hulababy · 05/01/2004 18:05

Will post a thread about problem if can't sort it and see if any of the 'prper' ICT people can do it.

Has anyone got any idea how many calories/how much fat is in a small to medium cappuccino made with skimmed milk? Is there much in the way of calories/fat in coffee? Is it just the milk and about a dozen grains of demerara sugar, oh and the sprinkling of choc on the top that is fattening? This has been today's snack, twice, oh and a satsuma and a banana, not had dinner yet, going for fragrant rice, lunch was pasta and arrabiata sauce, maybe too many carbs today? Yoghurt for breakfast. Weigh-in tomorrow for me.

Beccarollover · 05/01/2004 18:16

what about zipping the database first hulababy

Hulababy · 05/01/2004 18:19

I'll give it ago; might just be extension. Just been trying to find a version of winzip; didn't seem to have it.

Beccarollover · 05/01/2004 18:21

free download on winzip.com or comes as part of windows xp

Hulababy · 05/01/2004 18:49

Demented - sorry I only know the WW points, rubbish at all that calorie/fat stuff Eveyone else will be able t work them out soon hopefully too.

I can give you the point though and you may get a rough idea:

  • coffee = 0 points
  • skimmed milk = half a pint = 1 point
  • demerara sugar = heaped teaspoon = 0.5 points
  • sprinkling of choc on the top = teaspoon = 0.5 points
  • a satsuma = 0.25 points (not sure if allowed quarters though)
  • a banana = medium sized = 1.5 points
  • fragrant rice = medium portion of any type of savoury rice is 3.5 points
  • pasta = medium portion is 2 points
  • arrabiata sauce = I think this is tomato based so medium portion is 1.5
  • Yoghurt for breakfast = depends on type but normal pot of low fat is about 1.5-2 points

Hope this helps!!!

Have you been able to open yours Becarollover?? Mine wont open.

Hulababy · 05/01/2004 20:24

Melsy. Did the zip file version come through? Do you have winzip to open it?

Lisa78 · 05/01/2004 20:24

I did my Argos amble again today, 1.5 hrs on foot pushing pram and being dragged by dog. Changed the faulty bathroom scales (weighed me at 5 stone no matter what) and guess what? The replacement set will only weigh me in KG's and I was born in stones and pounds!
Another trip tomorrow then - think I will just go for a more expensive set of scales this time!

Beccarollover · 05/01/2004 20:25

Mine is saying unrecognized database format

Hulababy · 05/01/2004 20:27

I am not sure why it won't work . I sent it to myself as a zipped file; recieved ; unsipped it and it worked as an Access file no problem. I gather you definitely do have Access?

Hulababy · 05/01/2004 20:28

Lisa78 - DH got a pair of scales from Asda for £11 yesterday. Weights in stones and in kilos - swap over using a little switch on reverse. Seem ok.

melsy · 05/01/2004 20:31

I am getting the same message Beccarollover!! I seem to have access97. V frustrating , would be so much quicker to do point checks with find function aaaaaarrrgghhh!!

codswallop · 05/01/2004 20:31

yes lisa! find the switch, we have one too , well had, got arsed of with buying batteries have reverted to old style....

Ok, My bossinesss(lol)

do you want bossy or not? I am willing to be nicer.

Br wants me bossy.
SEnt dh to work with Tuna and olive salad with carrot(grated) and a tiny film canister of salad dressing. His colleagues all laughed and then admitted it nice!

Hulababy · 05/01/2004 20:32

RIGHT!!! I have changed it and copied and pasted it into an Excel spreadsheet file. I will try and send that and then you can always put it back into Access if you want. Hope that is okay - only compromiose I can think of!
