Following on from all the threads about what dhs/dps do and don't do...
He never remembers birthdays/anniversaries/card sending occasions. So, with Mother's Day looming when I chose a card for my Mum I chose one for his too.
Left it on the table on Friday, with a stamp, and a note to say "send this today" (he comes home for his lunch but ds2 and I were going to be out).
When we got back my card was still on the table. Turned out he'd gone into town on his way home and bought a card for his Mum.
The exact same card from the exact same shop.
And there are a lot of card shops in our town...
