Is a baby bath stand the same as a moses basket stand?

That's probably a really stupid question but I honestly don't know! I desperately need a moses basket stand ASAP but can't afford to get a new one just now... have just seen a baby bath and stand in the freeads and wondering if it'll work...

mine does Smile
(where are you zephrycat because I have two hanging about here cluttering the place up...)

Zephercat have a look at the car boots this weekend - you are bound to find one! FWIW I never used the stand, I just had the baby in the basket on the table, or on the bed, or the chest of drawers. I don't know if that is a bad idea, but it never seemed any less stable than a rickety stand.

PS - Do you desperately need one or are you nesting?Wink

I'm in Southampton...

I am nesting! But I am also running out of time! CS is booked for a week Wednesday and still have a heap of stuff to get! I'm planning to have the moses basket next to our bed so will need a stand as the the chest of drawers are almost 5 foot (I did think about it lol)

The bath and the stand are only 6.00 and I'll prob end up needing a bath as I bought an inflatable one in a moment of madness!!!

ps How are you getting on Colditz?

Mine fitted both.

colditz · 24/03/2006 15:46

I am slowly getting a bit more positive, and managing to rein my temper in a bit now, thanks for asking.

My due date is in 2 weeks! [sob] But I think I have everything ready.

SorenDeLorensen · 24/03/2006 15:46

Mine didn't fit both - ie., the bath wobbled about in the stand and the Moses basket wobbled about in the stand Grin (And it was sold as a stand for either!)

I wound towels round it to wedge the Moses basket in more firmly and put the baby bath on the dining table instead.
