anyone had a good holiday with small kids in corfu? and if so where..

It's got a scary airport, but I have sailed from there only so not sure about young children

God, i used to rep there!! Years ago though soit could have ll changed. I'd avoid the main touristy resorts (benitses, Sidari, Kavos etc ) - any decent resort should be ok. hotels, apartments may be abit basic - chooose carefully! but the Greeks are fab with kids. Yes the airport was scary - the place and the passengers!!

Why not get a few of the Thomson family style brochures (not just Thomson) and check which resorts they go to as they'll have chosen accommodation int he family resorts rather than lager lout ones (hopefully) - that should give you some idea of which ones to go for. I repped in benitses (lager lout) and Roda whch was a family resort then. nice beach in Roda.

Just watch out for the Greek night - it was a good night out but always full of coach lods from Ipsos, kavos etc who just went to get tabked up on the free flowing wine. There were always families complaining about drunken british beahviour (Danilia Village I think ti was called. Shame cos it was realy good).
