Bouncing belly...!

And the rest! 8 weeks after the birth, I am about 1 - 1.5 stone over weight, (but breastfeeding with boobs like melons, so I blame half a stone on that!)
Its mainly on my hips and tummy - thats huge and nothing fits, my maternity clothes are too big and my pre-pg clothes too small.
I know dieting is bad news when b/f (and don't like the sound of that at all!) but aren't there any exercise experts out there who can tell me how to get rid of the belly before someone asks me when my baby is due!
Thanks

No expert at all but Yoga is great, as well as pilates (Pilates is softer and asume safer at this stage) I started with weight watchers while breastfeeding... not because I wanted to loose weight but to ensure I was having three proper meals a day. (I used to forget to eat during the first days...)

Does anywhere near you run post natal classes. After ds was born the local Sports Centre offered classes for new mums in a room adjacent to the creche with special priority for the babies of those enrolled. You could also take them into the class and most were fine. At least then you are not intimidated by lithe, toned bodies in lycra and the exercises were gentle, specifically targetted ones which you could do at home too.

I had good intentions last time but trying to do something on your own isn't as a good a motivator as in a group. Still need to lose the tummy 2 years on but fortunately noone here knows how I looked beforehand.

Good luck
