putting a normal single size duvet on a cot bed? Is it really massivly too big for a cot bed? It is a bit of a struggle to find cot bed duvets and pillow covers. Most kiddy ones are for single size beds. Was sure that it was not THAT much difference in size so was thinking of buying some single size ones.

Sorry this question is so boring! lol

Thanks in advance to anybody that replies!

:-)

Try putting a single one on but sideways IYSWIM, tucking the ends under the sides of the mattress. Helps to keep the duvet on as they can't kick it off that way.

Ikea do a great one, I've got one that I'll measure for you later if you're interested, if it were big enough you could go get one then?

Just about to do the nursery run, so will reply later.

Hi TM, it's taken me longer to find a tape measure in the house to measure it rather than type this out! Anyway, it is 110 x 125cm. or 43.5x 49 inches
I think it was around £9, which is a bargain compared to the likes of Mothercare. It's nice and warm too.
I've just checked the label and it says that the total weight is 575g or 20oz
