I just wanted to thank everyone for the support I've had over the last 9 months. Custardo for being my very best friend, visiting me, phoning, emailing and being such a damn good listener! Aloha for lending me those maternity trousers - do you want them back by the way? WWW for her emails. Janh for visiting and emailing. And the list could go on. I've had personal emails and general messages of support on the board and all these have really helped get me through the last 9 months. There were times I really didn't think I would make it, but as soon as I came on Mumsnet I just felt tons better and I was encouraged to keep going. The pregnancy was so much better than the first and that's mainly because of the support I've had this time round.

I can't really tell you how much it means to have strangers care so much about you, it just gives you such a lift and renews your strength. I now have a very healthy baby boy and I'm on the Dalton Regime which seems to be working fine. I actually feel quite normal again and every day I wake up I cannot quite believe that it's all over! So a great big THANK YOU to everyone who has helped and thank you to Carrie, Rachel and Justine for setting Mumsnet up, because for some of us it literally has been a lifesaver.

Hi Rhubarb, I think its a case of getting what you give. You have given loads to people on this site and we are all really glad that everything has worked out well for you.

See you in Sale for the mumsnet moonie!

You are very welcome, flower - all of it is no more than you deserve - as lilibet says, you get what you give.

Rubarb, I am so pleased for you! Congraulations of course on the birth (or sprouting...). Mumsnet is incredible I do agree!

Rhubarb, me darlin', I'm so, so glad you're through this pregnancy and out the other side - I was thinking about you earlier today and wondering how you were, so it's lovely to come on tonight and find good news here. I'm constantly astounded by the kindness of (near) strangers on this site - mumsnetters lent me a lot of maternity clothes too (and emailed me about my labour fears with offers of their phone nos if I wanted to talk, book recommendations, offers to meet etc.) Gives you renewed faith in human nature dunnit? Got a name for your boy yet? (obviously only post it if you want to!)

I'm soooo glad to hear you are feeling better Rhubarb and sounding so much more positive! I hope you're enjoying your new addiction. I want to second everything you said about Mumsnet too, you say it so much better than I ever could!

I know what you mean WWW about the kindness of strangers, I'm still amazed over the gift arranged by pupuce. Mumsnet really makes you realise that there are really good people out there.
