I'M GOING F***** LOOPY!

I am so pissed off.I have been stuck in the house all week and most of last week with sick kids.Today they are both well and the sun is shining.had plans to get outside and have a life. British gas have come to service the boiler and it is leaking and so i have now got to wait in for an engineer who will come some time today.

this is about the 10th time this bloody boiler has gone wrong and it's not even 3 years old and it cost £ 3000!!!!!!

poor you, i'm going demented and feel disorientated(sp)don't know days of the week etc as i have been in the house every day for 3 weeks(self inflicted operation) and i am usualy out and about every single day

No advice but sympathy.. they didn't bother turning up here to an appointment that they (British Gas) had made! Duh....

£3000 is a lot for a boiler did you get it from BG? they are a rip off!

is the cover you have on it old for new kinda thing? if it breaks and they can't fix it they replace it! just being nosey thats all, dp is a heating engineer and fits boilers he said £3000 is far too much

yes it's glow worm condensing combi boiler.
wish we'd never bought the bloody thing.

don't know about the replacing it thing- we've got british gas 4 star cover.

what gets me is how often it's going wrong.
it went wrong ( badly) in december and january.was getting complacent because had had two months with no problems.

it was a subcontractor who fitted it-think he was a cowboy.

mmm dp said good boiler, thats a good cover but they will constantly fix it so as not to replace it, they are doing it with dp parents, they have had their boiler for a number of years bought from them, and they continually fix it, they had problems from the start with it, and now i think BG will write their boiler off so that they need to buy a new one from BG but obviously they won't as dp can get them one and fit it, hope you don't have same problem!

I'm sitting here waiting for an engineer to come and do the annual gas service check. But as usual they have given no time so I just have to sit here and get bored.

there is no f way that they are going to write this boiler off and say we have to buy a new one.no way!!!!!!
i will take them to court before they do that!

did you know BG are supposed to offer a family app now, so you are not at home from 8am-6pm they now offer in my area "a family app to fit round kids" from 10am-2pm just a thought!

i have just phoned up to hassle them and they re coming this afternoon between 12 and 6!!!!!!!!!

so all morning waiting in for them to call and all afternoon waiting for them to visit!!!!

he's just turned up. doesn't seem to be able to see any fault.
if nothing wrong i will be so cross that i stayed in all day for nothing.
