A hairdresser I just called charges 8.50 - rather steep I thought.

I wish I could get ds to a hairdresses, we have to do a DIY job with the clippers instead.

Radley · 22/03/2006 13:04

Blimey, that is steep, I only have two dd's but a friend of mine has 3 ds's and never pays more than 4.50

LadySherlockofLGJ · 22/03/2006 13:04

£10.

But it is a nice cut.

brimfull · 22/03/2006 13:04

£6 usually ,that's at barbers

GDG · 22/03/2006 13:05

£7

Tommy · 22/03/2006 13:09

local hairdressers do both DSs for £8 which I thought was ok. Last week though, just took DS1 to same salon but different hairdresser and she only charged me £2.50

teabelly · 22/03/2006 13:15

£5 at local barbers

katierocket · 22/03/2006 13:21

£8 at barbers

HappyMumof2 · 22/03/2006 13:22

£9 at original barbers so have now gone cheap and moved to one which only charges £5!

SorenLorensen · 22/03/2006 13:38

I used to pay a fiver but then I invested in some clippers so it's now free for ds1, ds2 and dh...and £35 for me at the hairdressers.

scotchlass · 22/03/2006 13:43

£6 for 3 yr old and £7 for 9 yr old, far too expensive IMO.

smellymelly · 22/03/2006 13:44

ouch, sounds a bit pricey - I do all the family myself, for free!! But now ds1 wants to grow his hair, looks a right mess at the mo! LOL

alliebaba · 22/03/2006 13:45

Blu · 22/03/2006 13:45

alliebaba · 22/03/2006 13:46

anteater · 22/03/2006 13:48

Tortington · 22/03/2006 13:59

yackertyyack · 22/03/2006 14:08

ahhhh glad my little man is a baldy baby now as it seems he is saving me a fotune!! Think he will be about 15 before he has enough hair to cut!Grin

Bozza · 22/03/2006 14:18

Nothing. Usually the hairdresser will do DS's for nothing when she is doing mine (but she is my friend) or we do it ourself with the clippers. Clippers came out quickly the other week when we got a letter from school about nits. Grin

NannyL · 23/03/2006 09:39

just paid £7.50... at the tiniest little 'salon' in the village Shock we thought it would be cheeper than the LOVE:Y main one in the city centre (£15 for 2 children but obvioulsy not)

This salon has 3 chairs, 2 hairdressers one FT one PT and a sofa (for people to wait on) and a desk and a sink, 2 mirrors, thats IT!

My bedroom is alot larger!
