Can't remember how old I was when I had a sleepover birthday party. What age do you think all the kids would be comfortable about it?

Not sure but my dd wants one for her 7th birthday. Not sure if I will let her or not!

DD had one for her sixth party, but she only had 1 friend to stay over, about 2am the little girl wanted to go home as dd1 had kicked her out of the comfy bed and got into the guest bed Grin

Thing is I know my dd would love it-- she is a real sleepover queen and jumps at the chance to stay over at her friends. But am worried the other kids will get stressed or miserable!

Just wondering because I was reading a party themes book in the library this morning and they had a really cool PJ party. You could do it in the daytime, making a giant bed on the lounge floor, playing hunt the slippers, match them up, blindfold slipper guessing etc, sitting up for toast and cereal at teatime. Doing it for an actual sleepover you could take them all out to a cafe in the morning still in their PJs and dressing gowns.

My kids are too little but I'm tring to store up ideas for years to come, winter birthdays are a little bit trickier aren't they?
