Having looked at the photos I agree that they definately look like fakes. Still dont like the painting although the artist is obviously very talented.

I think the whole 'haunting' thing was a very clever ploy to get lots of interest and to ensure a higher bid.

Still wouldnt want it in my house.

Just wondering if I own any crap art I can sell on ebay as a 'haunted' pic...

I've got some freaky photos of dh maybe I should get someone to reproduce them in paint, they would come out a lot scarier than that painting, could make a mint .

lol pebblemum! My mum had a look at it and she said that while it isn't a nice painting it didn't disturb her. It all sounds strange to me - that the ebay seller "disappeared" (I'm thinking maybe the seller was the artist trying to boost his sales??)

That wouldn't surprise me, he probably had trouble finding a buyer so decided to make up the story to ensure interest. Not a bad ploy though as it is still being talked about.
