Anyone actually still at work today? ...and what time will you be sneaking off?

I am but might as well not be since I appear to be doing bugger all productive....

Will be sloping off at circa 14.30 when rumour has it that the 'top floor' (the Chief Exec and Directors) will be going. Just shy of 4 hours to go then.....

Anyone else still working today?

Apart from SAHMs of course who work every day! (any brownie points here for political correctness?)

I am but we finish at lunchtime.

DH is bringing the kids in at midday...

I'm here. We're just eating cakes. The switchboard is shutting down at 1:00 so I guess that means we can go then too.
Some of my colleagues have bought their kids in and I was bringing mine but they have both had coughs and temperatures the last couple of days and I want them ok for tomorrow. So am a bit sad they aren't here. They would have liked the cakes. I have sneaked a couple in my bag to take home to them !

I am at work as well. I will be leaving at 12:25 (4 hours after I got in - only a half day needed) or 2 mins after my boss whichever happens first !
My work today consists of burning CD's - very exciting!!! But at least I don't have to use my brain & I can surf between changing CD's round

Yup - I'm here, but just listening to Jazz FM, drinking coffee, tidying my files etc...

I AM the 'boss' here today, so everyone's dying for me to go so they can slope off too... (I'll be putting us all out of our misery at lunchtime!)

Dh has gone to work today with 8yo DD in tow She was up at 6pm, dressed and out of the door to catch the 6.45am train into London!

She rang me 20 mins ago and so far they have done the following:

stopped off at Tesco to get chocolate for the morning.

eaten a bacon sarnie and mug of hot chocolate for breakfast.

Dh took her downstairs to the Santas Grotto to meet the Big Man and had her face painted.

Sent me a Christmas E-mail which I have yet to receive.

Playing computer games and watching Spy Kids DVD.

Doesn't sound like much work is going on today

supposed to be working. lap top is on. no emails or calls yet so getting housework done. One of the benefits of working from home

I've given up all pretence of work. Just been to the on site shop and bought myself a copy of 'Real' magazine to read (yes, I know - not very high brow)

I'm here!! And actually doing some work too. I'm a programmer and have just found two bugs in my code, so quite a productive Chrissy Eve. Also I'm escaping the madhouse that is my parents in laws place - where we've been staying since Monday. I definitely have the best deal being in the office, leaving dp and dd to cope with the relatives! Their his mum and dad and they still drive him up the wall.

Anyway ... off by about midday, under strict orders to get back for a special Christmas Eve lunch!

Ok, I'm very bored now !!! And have eaten far too much chocolate too early in the day

Just phoned home and dh tells me ds1 and ds2 are much better so that's a huge relief. They have started playing up so they must be better
They are all watching the Goofy film on TV and I am stuck here.

i'm going to go now - tee heee heee. Haven't done anything much though this morning

Have a great Xmas Metrobaby. Am jealous - still have at least another hour to go
