MP3 question

Does anyone know if it's possible to turn MP3 files back into a track playable by a CD player? I'm sure I read somewhere that it is but I can't now remember where I read it or how to do it.

Thanks!

Yes it is...can I ask what cd burning programme you use. Nero is very good and has this feature built into it, so you don't have to do the conversion first.

If no one else answers this soon, I will go and kick Mr Pie in bed and ask

It's not Nero (although my father has that) It something that came with the CDRW (and therefore probably cr*p!). I didn't think it might have the option to convert MP3 to a CD track though.

Leave Mr Pie be for now - there's no rush! (unless you particulary wanted to go and kick him. Mr Dragon is already out on the golf course!)

I think you're right, Pie. I had no idea my CDRW software would do it for me but according to the help files, it just gets on with it if you choose to create an audi CD. Fantastic! I'll let you know if it works Thanks

I'll warm my boots up first before kicking him...can you get a copy of Nero from your dad, as I said there are other ways, but Nero will do the conversion for you as it burns...pukka stuff

Whats your DH doing on the golf course, leaving you to stuff the turkey alone???

Ok, cool, crossed messages!

TinselDragon · 24/12/2003 09:32

We're having chicken and it came ready stuffed!!

I've only got to tidy/clean the kitchen, turn our playrom back into a dining room, make up the spare room, wrap the presents, clear DS2s room and put a double mattress on the floor... Sigh.

So, why am I on Mumsnet thinking about creating a CD for DH??

TinselDragon

If you have Windows Media Player 9 on your PC that will do it for you. All you have to do is compile the list of songs and then tell it to burn them to CD
