Fair point Sal,but think it should be law that any charidee event is not allowed to be self serving.
The sponsored event must benefit someone other than the self indulgent participant.
(Am thinking in particular of the menopausaul hypochondriac physiotherapist that haunts me in my place of work with agonising tales of her latest sponsored wheelbarrow race across the Gobi desert or whatever it is (new one every year.)

For months beforehand,we are subjected to her musings on training schedules, keyhole surgery for troublesome knees, wicking vests, ergonomic waterbottles and the merits of gussetless knickers.

On her return, the albums (oh God the albums!!!) come out. The size of a Barratt starter home and about as multi faceted.

Gaaah!!!!!

Greensleeves · 18/03/2006 23:45

moondog, I have now ruptured my small intestine from laughing, and will be billing you forthwithGrin
