DS2 and a photoshoot?

He decided to go in for this M&S thing and was selected to take part in the photoshoot, modelling boy clothes (coats, schoolwear, stuff like that) and he's really excited. He's quite handsome (unlike ugly old me) and though it's an odd thing for a 7yr old to, he wants to (even DS1 is a bit jealous).

About four boys from his school, including him, wanted to be photographed overall but there were loads of boys queuing to get the parts (they wanted about ten boys or something like that, they never explained it properly), so he's understandably hyper. I really need to get him calmed down a bit before the actual photographs and I'm not sure if I should bring snacks, have a late lunch or eat out with him? Has anyone ever had a modelling 7yr old?

I'm writing this now because he came downstairs about five mins ago (so at about 6:35) doing a silly little song about it, got dresed WITHOUT BEING ASKED TEN TIMES and has woken up the whole house. He's also chattering away manically, and has just eaten about three Weetabixs which he hates. He'll explode soon. I'll explode sooner. Help?

I've never done it but I can imagine my nearly 7 yr old DS loving it.

I would take lunch, snacks, drinks, some colouring, cars, etc and treat it like a fun day out that might involve a lot of hanging around.
Hopefully the team involved will be used to hyper DC though I would let my DS run around outside a lot before going in (and then at every opportunity during the day :))

Hope you have a lovely time :)
